NEWS June/July 09 - Started off this period with a little shoot with the amazing Gav 'The Vinyl Warrior', a northern Soul DJ for press, Then I had a session with the mighty 'Lethal Bizzle' in a subterranean club with a magazine for the launch of his new record. After this I worked for NME for a new up and coming band called 'Official Secrets Act' where we did a shoot to suport their first album and then a did live gig for fans. The DJ failed to show so I was also roped into playing records for a packed Islington Academy, another string to my bow! At this time I shot Carl Barat which the made NME News section. A Session followed with an amazing new band called 'The Palpitations' for their new Single 'Cabin Fever' and for Press, which was set in the amazing surroundings of a Victorian Bathhouse in the city of London. The last band i had a session with was the fabulous 'We were Promised Jetpacks' who we had a session with before they played the London date on their UK Tour. They are with Fatcat records and big things are destined for these! Amid all this excitment I also packed up and decamped to Glastonbury and Latitude Festivals for all things photographic to just be a touch silly, lets hope the summer long continues...........
